UI // web design

For the website, a clean, light design with simplicity in mind were the main goals of the visual aspects. I wanted to showcase the products themselves, and avoid the website’s design overpowering them. A white background lends a bright and airy feel, and contrasts the jewelry photography nicely. As Talinka & Co.’s designs are bespoke in nature, I included a product request form for when prototype and one-of-a-kind designs become sold out.

Talinka & Co. uses smaller promo materials, such as postcards, to distribute at shows and events, and also to pack within product shipments. The following are samples of product insert postcards designed for promotional marketing.

Promo postcards
Promotional designs for Talinka’s new bejeweled home accessories collection, Rare Earth Mineral.

Magazine ads
Talinka & Co. have advertised in some very high end fashion magazines. For these ads, I created a set of bold, minimal designs with distinctly couture, yet highly interpretive, aesthetics, rather than focusing on individual pieces (although ads for individual pieces were also designed). The ads below have a lookbook feel that’s more in line with the aesthetic of the magazines they were featured in.

Lookbooks / catalogs
I designed multiple product lookbooks / catalogs for promotion use at events. These were all 6×9″ landscape oriented, each dedicated to a different collection.

Stationery
Letterhead, folders, and business cards were designed for B2B investor presentations. Multiple versions were designed, each corresponding to an image used in the magazine ads for brand recognition.
