Rerun Productions has been creating amazing lighting and home furnishings from recycled items since the late 90s. Rerun’s clever designs integrate salvaged parts from computers, musical instruments, antique doodads, space shuttle parts, supercomputers, and more. Rerun also uses eco-friendly methods in creating their signature lamp shades, which consist of handmade paper from banana tree leaves and vegetable dyes.

I’ve worked with Rerun since 2006, having revamped their website a number of times. This latest iteration consists of an ultra-minimal, mid-century modern X industrial design that showcases Rerun’s work and allows for easy contact and purchase.
Although Rerun’s pioneer and designer, Steve Bewley, isn’t one for braggadocio, I sneaked in a list of Rerun’s celebrity customers, which includes Sandra Bullock, Kelly LeBrock, and Herb Alpert, to name just a few.

As part of an image revamp, new stationery and business cards were designed to reflect Rerun Productions’ high-end products and industrial aesthetic.
Stationery Steve likes sleek, modern, dark print items, and I was happy to oblige when designing the business cards. Thick, black card stock makes for a bold impression, and a stamped logo and text add a level of visual impact and tactility.
The stationery incorporates natural kraft paper, appropriate for the organic nature of Rerun’s designs. In keeping with with Rerun’s eco-friendly practices, both the business cards and stationery were printed on recycled paper stock.
Simple Moodboards I did these for use in Rerun’s press kit and style guide, as I had a strong aesthetic vision that aligned with the company’s.
