The Client

Founded by Dr. Josep Genebriera and Dr. Neil Shah, aknè mechanic is a dermatologist-formulated anti-acne system designed for sophisticated, health-conscious men.

Visual Design // Collateral

To facilitate the launch of aknè mechanic’s skincare line, I designed several collateral items, including stationery, product inserts / flyers, and postcards, as well as t-shirts and pull-down banners for events. 

aknè mechanic’s target audience includes males aged 15-40 with an interest in skincare and advanced skin health. To appeal to this genre and keep inline with the brand, I went with a bold, dark look and feel that maintained a youthful edge. Charcoal gray instead of a sleeker black lends a friendlier and more modern appeal. Photography was provided by aknè mechanic, which added a professional, yet niche feel to the brand.
