Global Concepts approached me to redesign their rather outdated website and refresh their logo. Having a quasi-brand in place already, I kept GC’s red and white color scheme, but brightened the primary red hue. The vivid red and crisp white contrast lends a modern feel, reflective of the furnishings GC offers.
The main focus with GC’s website was updating the user interface and user experience through content re-organization, as well as giving it a much-needed face lift. We needed to make apparent several key elements that weren’t obvious in the previous site, including GC’s commitment to the environment, the extent and range of their product lines, educational discount options, free shipping options, and promotion of GC’s delivery, installation, and space planning services.
